It has been a while since I promised you this recipe. I ‘m so busy lately (again..), that I barely manage to write these few lines … I had shown you a sneak peak of that healthy brownie on Instagram 😉 So, better late than never; such a chocolaty recipe should not be wasted! Healthy hazelnut brownie it is, flourless, extra-chocolaty and super-tasty. And gluten-free, of course.
Chocolate lovers will adore this healthy brownie. It’s so quick and easy to make, it literally takes no more than 10 minutes to prepare. It’s a must-try recipe!
Hazelnut Brownie (gluten-free)
A healthy, gluten-free and extra-chocolaty brownie made with hazelnut butter.
- 130 gr. coconut sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 300 gr. hazelnut butter
- 35 gr. cocoa (preferably organic)
- ¼ teaspoon of salt
- ¼ teaspoon baking soda
- ¼ teaspoon baking powder
- 90 gr. chopped dark chocolate (65-70% cocoa, divided)
- 115 gr. roughly chopped roasted hazelnuts
- extra cocoa powder (for garnishing)
Preheat oven to 160° C. Lay a 24x24cm square pan with parchment paper.
In a bowl, mix coconut sugar with the eggs. Add vanilla and hazelnut butter and stir again.
In another bowl, sift cocoa, soda, baking powder and salt. Add to the first mixture and mix again. Add half the chocolate and hazelnuts and fold with a spatula.
Transfer the mixture to the pan and make sure to spread it evenly.
Sprinkle the rest of the chocolate on the surface and bake in the second rack of the oven for about 25 minutes.
Allow to cool completely before cutting.
Sift some extra cocoa powder on the brownie’s surface and enjoy
