Getting your breakfast ready is, sometimes, really irritating… Those days, when you have so many things to do, that you wish your breakfast is ready the time you wake up. I guess you feel this way, now and then. I certainly do! Today’s proposal is an overnight oats with chia seeds. All you have to do in the morning is add fresh fruits and… eat it. And if you are really in a hurry, you grab the mason jar and take it with you at work. Of course, this will not only serve my busy friends, but the heavy sleepers, as well!
Overnight Oats with Chia Seeds
Ingredients
- 1 ½ cup milk 2% (or any other milk of your choice)
- 1 banana
- 2 tbsp honey (or agave syrup)
- ½ cup rolled oats
- 2 tbsp chia seeds
- fresh fruits of your choice ( I used fresh strawberries)
Instructions
Add milk, banana and honey in the blender and mix well.
Add rolled oats and chia seeds and stir until well combined.
Transfer the mixture in a mason jar and refrigerate for about 6-7 hours, or overnight.
In the morning serve with fresh fruits of your choice.
