The cereal bars are one of my favorite snacks. You can have them in your bag and have the best snack at work, the gym, everywhere. Moreover, cereal bars are the best breakfast along with a glass of milk. The ingredients of this recipe you can find them in every supermarket, or, organic product shop. They are nutritious and very, very tasty.
Walnut Granola Bars
Ingredients
- 1 cup walnuts, coarsely chopped
- 1 cup dried cranberries
- 1/3 cup honey
- 1/3 cup peanut butter
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1/3 cup flaxseed, crushed
Instructions
Preheat oven in 160oC (320oF).
In a bowl combine all ingredients and mix well.
Spread the mixture in a 24X24cm (9X9in) baking pan, lined with parchment paper and bake for 15’- 18’. Set aside to cool.
When completely cold remove from pan and cut the bars in 12 even pieces.
Store in an airtight container and keep in a cool place.

Notes: You can also use a loaf pan. The thickness of the bars depends on the size of the pan.
When the weather is warm you can keep the Walnut Granola Bars for about 2 weeks. Otherwise you can keep them longer.
