A few days ago I attended the inauguration of the new Loumidis family Coffee Shop in Omonia Square and I really want to talk about it. As a renowned coffeeholic, I was “drunk” by the sensational aroma of the coffee overwhelmed the site and was really impressed by the elegance and the warm environment of the store.
The first Loumidis Coffee Store was created in1932, in Omonia Square and 84 years after the renovated Coffee Store on 106 Aeolus 6 Street, is finally open.
Those who attended had the chance to try some of the most prestigious and aromatic varieties of freshly brewed coffee, and delicious food from the wide variety of the store products. The most aromatic coffee brewed the traditional way, the most fragrant coffee liqueur, delicious delights and scones, jams and preserves are some of those we tasted.
For those who love the Greek double brewed coffee, I must tell you that the one you see in the instagram post is excellent. And for those who cannot tolerate caffeine, a new Greek coffee without caffeine, cold-processed without chemical solvents, is now in store.
We were welcomed by the representatives of the Second and Third generation of Loumidis family, who mentioned the story of the family business (96 years!). Then, they guided the guests in the Coffee House. At the same time, they made specific reference to the high quality of the products sold on all Loumidis store network while, did not fail to congratulate the highly trained staff. Closing stressed: “We are very happy that the second and third generation of our family is here today to celebrate the happy event of the renovation of the new store, which marks our business course in the future. This shop, which is the landmark in our history, continues to respect the long history of coffee and keeps the tradition alive, perpetuating the ” Loumidis Coffee Shops”. Guided by the experience and knowledge of 96 years we continue tirelessly to build the values, the vision of our founders and relationships with our customers.
